Your road to a license, tracked.
Log your driving time, see your progress, and know exactly how many hours you have left.
17.5 hours to go. You're getting closer.
Three taps. That's the whole routine.
No paperwork, no spreadsheets. Just drive, tag it, and watch the hours add up.
Start the timer
Tap Start Drive when you pull out of the driveway. Forgot? Add the drive afterward in a few seconds.
Tag the drive
Mark it as night, bad weather, or highway, and pick who rode along โ Mom, Grandpa, your instructor. Add a note if you want to remember something.
Watch your progress
Your dashboard shows exactly how far you've come and how many hours are left. Whoever rode along confirms the drive with one tap.
Everything you need. Nothing you don't.
Built for the way learning to drive actually happens โ a little at a time, on real roads.
Live drive timer
Start, pause, and finish drives with one tap. The timer keeps running even if you lock your phone.
Night, weather & highway
Most states require specific night hours. Tag each drive and see separate progress for every category.
Set your own goal
50 hours? 40? 60 with 10 at night? Set the requirement for your state and the app does the math.
Export your log
Need to hand in a driving log? Export a clean CSV of every drive, ready to print or share.
Parents ride along
Show a QR code, and Mom, Dad, Grandma, or your instructor can follow your progress and confirm the drives they supervised.
Private by design
No account needed to start, no location tracking, no ads. A teen's log is seen only by the people they invite โ never sold, never used for marketing.
You're getting closer to your license.
Progress you can see is progress you'll keep making. DriveTimeTracker turns the requirement into a countdown you'll actually want to check.

Ride along, without taking over.
The log belongs to the driver. Scan their QR code and you see the hours stacking up โ and confirm the drives you were there for.
- One tap to confirm a drive. Twins? Blended family? Everyone who rides along can follow โ parents, step-parents, grandparents, siblings, instructors.
- Every drive records who supervised and who confirmed it, so the log is ready when the DMV asks.
- Export a clean, dated summary in one tap โ no retyping into a paper form.
Log today's drive.
Free, no sign-up, no app store. Open it on your phone and add it to your home screen.
That's it โ it opens full-screen like a regular app and works offline. No app store, nothing to update.
Good questions.
Does the app need an account?
Drivers don't โ open it and start logging. Add an email later if you want to get your log back on a new phone. Parents and supervisors sign in with an email code (no password) so their confirmations are tied to a real person.
How do parents see my progress?
Tap Invite a parent in the app. Anyone who scans the QR code or enters the short code follows your progress and can confirm drives. Invite as many people as ride along โ each twin gets their own code, and one parent can follow all of them.
Is there an app to download?
You don't need one. Open drivetimetracker.app on your phone and add it to your home screen โ Share โ Add to Home Screen on iPhone, or the โฎ menu โ Add to Home screen on Android. It opens full-screen, works offline, and updates itself.
Which requirements does it track?
Total supervised hours plus night, bad-weather, and highway hours. You set the totals your state requires โ the app doesn't assume, because every state is a little different.
Is the exported log accepted by my DMV?
The export includes date, start time, duration, conditions, and supervising driver โ the same fields most paper logs ask for. Check your state's form; some still require a signed paper copy, which you can fill in from the export.
